The Front Tab of the eXtyles style palette includes paragraph styles that will be used to style content that will generally appear in the front matter of documents. 

Style Name

Description of Use

Report Title

Use to style the title of the report

Report Subtitle

Use to style the subtitle of the report, if present

Suggested Citation Title

Use to style the title of the report as it should appear in a suggested citation and if it is different from the report title (e.g., sentence-case capitalization)

Abstract Title

Use to style the title of the abstract, if present

Abstract

Use to style the abstract text

Authors

Use to style the names of the authors of the report

Affiliation

Use to style the authors' affiliations

Authors Group

Use to style the names of authors that belong to a specific authoring group; e.g., peer reviewers

Affiliation Group

Use to style the affiliations of the group authors

Author Note

Use to style any note text that provides further information about the author

Acknowledgements Head

Use to style the acknowledgements head, if present

Cover Heading 1

Use to style the heading of any cover text that needs to be set with a black marginal bar in the PDF

Cover Text

Use to style the text of any cover text that needs to be set with a black marginal bar in the PDF

Cover List Level 1

Use to style list text of any cover content that needs to be set with a black marginal bar in the PDF

Boilerplate Text

Use to style any cover front matter boilerplate content that will be set in a box in the PDF

Frontmatter Heading 1

Use to style the primary heading of a front matter section, such as Executive Summary

Frontmatter Heading 2

Use to style the first subheading in a front matter section

Frontmatter Heading 3

Use to style the second subheading in a front matter section

Frontmatter Text

Use to style the text of the front matter

Abbreviations Title

Use to style the title of an Abbreviations section

Abbreviations Entry

Use to style the line items in an abbreviations list; for example

AE adverse event

Glossary Title

Use to style the title of a Glossary

Glossary Text

Use to style discursive text within a glossary section

Glossary Entry

Use to style a glossary term and definition entry; for example

Use to style text that should not be present in the XML; e.g., table of contents
