The Obj (Object) Tab

The Obj (meaning, Object) tab of the eXtyles style palette includes styles that should be used for table, figure, and box content in WTO publications.

eXtyles Cleanup will auto-style tables (titles, column heads, and body) when that option is selected in the Cleanup dialog.

Table Title

Use for the title of the table

Table Title Continued

Use for any separate paragraphs following the table title; e.g., units of measurement

Table Heading

Use for the column head for the table

Table Subhead

Use for any internal heads in the table

Table Body

Use for the table body text

Table Note

Use for any notes following the table; these can be either within a table cell or outside of a table cell

Table Source

Use for any table source content; these can be either within a table cell or outside of a table cell

Table Alt Text

Use to style an accessibility caption for the table, if present

Figure Caption

Use for a figure title/caption

Figure Caption Continued

Use for any separate paragraphs following the figure caption; e.g., units of measurement

Figure Graphic

Use to style the figure image itself, if present in the Word document

Figure Note

Use for any note text accompanying the figure

Figure Source

Use for any source content accompanying the figure

Figure Alt Text

Use to style an accessibility caption for the figure, if present

Box Begin

Use to indicate the start of complex box content (see the style examples for more details); for example,

[[Begin Box 1.1]]

Content styled with Box Begin will be dropped from the XML.

Box Title

Use to style the title of the box

Box Heading 1

Use to style level-one subheadings in a box, if present (no auto-numbering)

Box Heading 2

Use to style level-two subheadings in a box, if present (no auto-numbering)

Box Text

Use to style the body text of the box

Box Text (No space after)

Use to style the body text of the box if no additional space after the paragraph is required (strictly a Word layout function; there is no difference in markup in the XML between Box Text and Box Text (No space after))

Box List Level 1

Use to style the first level of a list within a box (bulleted or numbered)

Box List Level 2

Use to style the second level of a list within a box (bulleted or numbered) that is subordinate to a level-one list item

Box List Level 3

Use to style the third level of a list within a box (bulleted or numbered) that is subordinate to a level-two list item

Box Note

Use to style any notes associated with the box

Box Source

Use to style the source of the box

Box End

Use to indicate the start of complex box content (see the style examples for more details); for example,

[[End Box 1.1]]

Content styled with Box Begin will be dropped from the XML.

Non-XML Text

Dropped from the XML: Use to style any content in the document that should not be present in the layout or final rendering of the content
