The Title Tab of the eXtyles style palette includes paragraph styles that will be used to style content that will generally appear on the title page of the document.

Brepols (Journals)

Style NameDescription of Use
Issue TitleUsed to style the title of a journal issue (not the title of an article).
Chapter/Article NumberUsed to style the number of an article, if present.
Chapter/Article TitleUsed to style the title of an article.
Chapter/Article SubtitleUsed to style the subtitle of an article, if present and on a separate line from the title.
Chapter/Article Alternative TitleUsed for an alternate form of the title that will be used in the TOC.
Right Running HeadUsed to style the right running head, which is an abbreviated article title that typically appears on each right-hand article page except the first page.
Left Running HeadUsed to style the left running head, which is information (such as first author name) that typically appears on each left-hand article page.
First Page HeadUsed to style a heading above the title that describes the article type (e.g., "Editorial").
Contributor - Descriptive Text

Used on, for example, "Edited by" or other similar text that describes the role of the names that immediately follow. The descriptive text needs to be on its own line; for example,

Contributor Type - AuthorUsed to style the author line of an article.
Contributor Type - Historical AuthorUsed to style the author line of an article when the authors are historical.

Contributor Type - CollaboratorUsed to style the collaborator/s name/s for an article (see also Contributor - Descriptive Text).

AffiliationUsed to style the affiliations of the contributor/s. Can be used with any of the Contributor Type styles
CorrespondenceUsed to style corresponding author information, which is distinct from affiliations.
Article HistoryUsed to style the article history; e.g., received, revised, and accepted dates.
Author Short BioUsed to style the biography of the contributors, if present.
Abstract HeadUsed to style the heading above the abstract (e.g., "Abstract").
AbstractUsed to style the article abstract or summary text.
Keywords TitleUsed to style the title of the keywords list, if it is a separate paragraph (e.g., not run-in with the list of keywords).
KeywordsUsed to style the list of keywords or terms.
Abbreviations

Used to style a list of abbreviations, which typically includes both terms and definitions.

DOIUsed to style the sort bibliographic reference and DOI number that is attributed to the article (in journal or miscellany).
Review Head - Book AuthorsUsed to style the author of a book in a book review.*
Review Head - Book TitleUsed to style the title of the book in a book review.*
Review Head - Book InformationUsed to style the publication information of a book in a book review.*
Non-XML TextUsed for text that needs to be in the Word document for the typesetter, but should not appear in the XML

*In an XML workflow, book review information should be included in three separate styles: Book author(s), Book title, and Book information.

Style NameDescription of Use
Non-XML TextUsed for text that needs to be in the Word document for the typesetter, but should not appear in the XML.
Series - Editorial Board TitleUsed for the heading or introductory text for the list of series editors (if present).
Series - Editorial Board MemberUsed for the list of series editors, if present. Use with Affiliation style if address is given for the series editors. Note that this content is processed by eXtyles Author Processing. 
Book TitleUsed to style the title of the book.
Book SubtitleUsed to style the subtitle of the book.
Book Alternative TitleThis is an alternate version (usually shorter) of the book title used in the table of contents.
Book Translated Title

Used to style the translated title of the book, is present.

If this or any of the other translated styles are used, a selection must be made from the Secondary Language drop-down on the Document Information dialog.

Book Translated Subtitle

Used to style the translated subtitle of the book, if present.

If the translated styles are used, a selection must be made from the Secondary Language drop-down on the Document Information dialog.

Right Running HeadUsed to style the right running head, which is an abbreviated article title that typically appears on each right-hand article page except the first page.
