Following examples show how to use the styles on the Back tab of the style palette, and the BITS XML that is produced for each style.

Document content that is placed as back matter should be styled using the options on the Back tab of the palette. This includes document reference lists (as opposed to chapter reference lists), back matter acknowledgments, and back matter glossaries or lists of abbreviations.

It is important to use the correct Back styles for this content to ensure that is remains in the correct location in the XML.

XML markup for these elements is the same as the analogous front elements, except this content will be placed in a <back> section of the XML.

Boxes and Sidebars

Should boxes and sidebars appear in the document the styles on the Back tab should be used.
