The Front Tab of the eXtyles style palette includes paragraph styles that will be used to style content that will generally appear in the front matter of documents. 

Style Name

Description of Use

Document Title

Use to style the title of the document/report

Document Subtitle

Use to style the subtitle of the document/report, if present

Document Type

Use to style the title of the report as it should appear in a suggested citation and if it is different from the report title (e.g., sentence-case capitalization)

Document Country

Use to style the country information, if provided on the title of the document

Document Date

Use to style the date, if provided on the title of the document

Document Version

Use to style the version of the document, if provided

Chairperson

Use to style the chairperson(s) names, if provided

Cover Text

Use to style any additional text that needs to appear on the cover of the document that is not already addressed with a specific paragraph style

Cover Note

Use to style any note text that needs to appear on the cover of the document

Acknowledgements Title

Use to style the acknowledgements title, if present

Acknowledgements

Use to style the acknowledgements text

Foreword Title

Use to style the foreword title, if present

Foreword Text

Use to style the text of the foreword

Foreword Signature Block

Use to style the signature information for the foreword, if present

Frontmatter Title

Use to style the title of any front matter section that is not already covered by a specific paragraph style (e.g., Preface, Introduction [if it belongs in the front matter])

Frontmatter Heading 1

Use to style the primary subheadings of a front matter section, if present

Frontmatter Heading 2

Use to style the secondary subheadings in a front matter section, if present

Frontmatter Text

Use to style the text of the front matter

Disclaimer Title

Use to style the title of a disclaimer, if present

Disclaimer Text

Use to style the text of a disclaimer, if present

Non-XML Text/Graphics

Use to style text that should not be present in the XML; e.g., notes to the layout team
