There are times when you may need to include text in the Word file that will not be exported to XML. This page describes how this Non-XML Text style is used.

Non-XML Text

The Non-XML Text style is used for content that needs to be included in the Word file, but should not be exported to XML. For example, instructions to a designer or proofreader could be styled as Non-XML Text, and then there is no danger that they might be left in the Word file and accidentally exported as part of the JATS XML.

Example

There is no example for this style, since it is not exported to XML.
