Tables Cleanup
The Tables section of Cleanup can automate table formatting, making it quicker and easier to create a uniformed look based on your preferences.
Cleanup Function | Use |

Remove Borders | Removes the borders not only around the entire table but also on all cells in the table. |
Add Top/Bottom Border | Adds a 1 pt. rule to the top and bottom of a table. |
Add Header Border | Adds a border to only the heading row of a table. |
Center Columns | Centers the text in all of the table columns. |
Left Justify First Column | Applies left-justified formatting to the text in just the first column of a table (preserving the original formatting in the rest of the columns of the table). |
Remove 1st-Line Indent | Removes indents from the first line of text in all table cells. |
Remove Shading | Removes all cell shading in the tables. |
Insert Space in Empty Cell | Inserts one non-breaking space in empty table cells. |
Auto-Fit Contents | Removes any specific width settings in a table and applies auto-fit to all table cells. |
When selected, the Table Cleanup options will act on all of the tables in the document. You can not select Table Cleanup to act on only specific tables in the document.
