The eXtyles Tags section of Post-Processing Cleanup gives you the ability to remove inserted eXtyles tags at the start and end of each reference.

When checked, you much choose a paragraph style from the dropdown menu. If no paragraph style has been pre-configured in either dropdown menu, please select the paragraph style used for your reference list.

Some publications have two paragraph styles for references. If your publication has multiple styles for references, please select both. If not, the second field may be left empty.

This function should not be used if the file is to be exported to XML.

Tip: It’s recommended you check this setting if your organization uses a Word-PDF-Workflow.
