The Obj (Object) Tab

The Obj (Object) Tab of the eXtyles style palette includes paragraph styles that will be used to style content for objects such as figures, tables, lists, and so on.

Note that the Obj Tab is the same for all Brepols documents.

Items in shaded cells in the following table can be auto-styled by eXtyles if the appropriate option is selected in the Cleanup dialog. For more information, see the Cleanup documentation in the eXtyles User Guide.

Style NameDescription of Use
Captions - TableUsed to style the title of the table; or, a description of the table (sometimes called a Table Caption). It may include the table number in some styles.
Table - Table HeadUsed to style the header rows in the table (e.g., the column heads, if present).
Table - Table BodyUsed to style the body content of the table.
Table - Table FootnoteUsed to style the table footnotes, if present.
Table - Table LegendUsed to style an uncited footnote below the table body (e.g., a table key). Only use this style if you need to distinguish a table legend from a table footnote.
Captions - FigureUsed to style the caption for a figure or photo.
Captions - ChartUsed to style the caption for a chart.
Captions - MapUsed to style the caption for a map.
Captions - PlateUsed to style the caption for a plate.
Captions (Continued)Used to style a second paragraph that is a continuation of the object caption. Can be used with any of the Caption styles.
Insert ImageUse to style text that is a placeholder for the typesetter; that is, an indication of the exact place where a table/illustration needs to be inserted (e.g., "Insert Map here"). This content is dropped from the XML.
Enumeration Level 1 - NumberedUsed to style the first level of a numbered list. Can also be used for lettered lists.
Enumeration Level 2 - NumberedUsed to style the second level (subitem) of a numbered list. Can also be used for lettered lists.
Enumeration Level 3 - NumberedUsed to style the third level (subitem) of a numbered list. Can also be used for lettered lists.
Enumeration Level 4 - NumberedUsed to style the fourth level (subitem) of a numbered list. Can also be used for lettered lists.
Enumeration Level 1 - BulletedUsed to style the first level of a bulleted list.
Enumeration Level 2 - BulletedUsed to style the second level (subitem) of a bulleted list.
Enumeration Level 3 - BulletedUsed to style the third level (subitem) of a bulleted list. 
Enumeration Level 4 - BulletedUsed to style the fourth level (subitem) of a bulleted list. 
Enumeration - UnnumberedUsed to style an unnumbered list (i.e., a list that is not numbered, lettered, or bulleted).
Enumeration Level 1 (Continued)Used to style a subsequent paragraph (continuation), if present, of the first-level item in a list. Can be used with either numbered or bulleted list.
Enumeration Level 2 (Continued)Used to style a subsequent paragraph (continuation), if present, of the second-level item in a list. Can be used with either numbered or bulleted list.
Enumeration Level 3 (Continued)Used to style a subsequent paragraph (continuation), if present, of the third-level item in a list. Can be used with either numbered or bulleted list.
Enumeration Level 4 (Continued)Used to style a subsequent paragraph (continuation), if present, of the fourth-level item in a list. Can be used with either numbered or bulleted list.
